THE SEEKER

I am a native Kashmiri, currently based in the United Kingdom, with a profound appreciation for the diverse and unique expressions of human behavior. As an observer of both the subtle gestures of the universe and the intricacies of life around me, I aim to capture the fleeting yet meaningful moments that shape our world.

Through mobile photography and videography, I seek to present a distinct perspective on people, places, and cultures, highlighting the beauty of simplicity and the significance of everyday experiences. My passion for learning continually fuels my creative approach and inspires my work.

For over 15 years, I have been actively engaged in promoting sustainable development, peacebuilding, and the protection of human rights at local, national, and international levels. I contribute my technical expertise to institutions within the International Development and Humanitarian sectors, advocating for meaningful change and empowerment across communities.

Born and raised at the foothills of the majestic Himalayas in Kashmir, my love for hiking and the outdoors is deeply rooted in my upbringing. Kashmir’s ongoing conflict has profoundly influenced my outlook on life, especially seeing firsthand the impacts of occupation, forced migration, and division. This experience has fueled my commitment to social justice and my dedication to empowering individuals at all levels.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I remain passionate about filmmaking and photography, which allow me to creatively express my worldview. I also actively promote community cohesion and sustainable change, which I consider to be the core mission of my life.
